Writer’s block…Help

SO I completely acknowledge that I am having some writers block and we might take a week off of writing so in lieu of this and I’ll let you know if / when a break is happening but until then, Here are some of the most recent photos from our phone! We have a small project coming up that I am guilt tripping to get done for my birthday so updates on that will be upcoming!

The Guilt Trip Project, I want to construct a fire pit using materials we have on property-This is not my photo, I pinned it on Pinterest a long time ago and would love to give credit for it

Walking and enjoying the weather down the road
We actually managed to tire Lady Puppy a little!
Proof we have tired puppies
Going on a dog friendly errand day, Tikka wants to see where we are going, Lady just wants us to throw the ball
Look how Cute!
Just want to face palm sometimes seeing the positions that are “Comfortable”

  1. I too struggle at times with writing a daily blog. Especially when I feel nothing has happened that was worth reporting or recording. There are also days when the only significant thing that happens is something not suitable for publication.
My approach has been to remind myself that it is a daily blog and some people read it each day. (I’m bad, I read the blogs of others in batches.) So I try and record an entry each day, even if it is very short.
My other approach has been to start writing fiction. Writing a first-person narrative is remarkably easy, I found, for a blogger. Once I started, I couldn’t stop. A story just appeared. I kept going back to my writing to find out what happened next to these characters I was suddenly following. Like getting a box set of your favourite series. The thing that suddenly set me free was writing using Google docs. I could work on my phone or my laptop and switch between the two. WordPress is great on Android for writing blogs, hopeless for the site construction. On Windows it is the other way around.
The other thing was changing the keyboard I use on Android, I used to use Grammarly, but it slowed me down with its constant autocorrect with irrelevant words. Writing the same word six times before it allows you the word you actually want is no way to make progress. Switching to Gboard solved that.
Don’t know if any of that helps. It’s just my experience.
